Bum Bum tied her shoes!!

Oh how I have been trying for I don't know how long to teach both of my littles to tie their shoes, which has been extra difficult because I don't actually think I tie mine the proper way.

They always say peers are the ones you learn from (I don't know who says that really, I made it up) and she learned from a cute little girl in her class who had helped her by tying her shoes earlier in the day.

When I got to school to pick her up she wanted to show me something she had watched, but hadn't tried yet, and proceeded to tie her shoes for me ... perfectly might I add.

I'm very proud of you Bum Bum!

A Moment in Time

Years from now what will you say about your life?

I stole that from an Allstate commercial ... actually I prefer to think of it as "relocating it to my thoughts" ..., but it's still a very good question to ponder. Years from now I would like to be able to say I built lots of wonderful memories with my children that they still think about into adulthood, perhaps while they are playing with their children should they decide to have them of course.

Sometimes I feel like I'm losing my mind, so in an effort to help me remember wonderful memories with them I thought I would jot them down as they happen ... maybe a few days late as I will raise my hand to being a procrastinator.

To anyone who should happen upon my thoughts and become a follower of what's going to happen next, I hope you enjoy this glimpse into our lives.
